My name is Paul Ndirangu and I am a Data Scientist. My obsession with technology has always been a huge motivation for me to learn more. I enjoy having conversations that go beyond the surface and lead to transformational change in our lives using technology.
My goal is to become part of a relevant organization, network with people in the field of Data Science and use my skills to change my society. I also want to continue learning and improving both my technical and social skills since Data Science is a fast-moving industry.

USAID's Intelligent Forecasting Challenge: Model Future Contraceptive Use
The aim of the project was to provide accurate forecasting of contraceptive consumption in Cote D'ivoire. The dataset was provided by Zindi.

Electricity Consumption Prediction on an Hourly basis
The objective of this project was to predict electricity consumption on an hourly basis. The dataset was provided by Moringa School and was collected from June 2013 to July 2017.

TB Image Classification
The main objective of this study is to build a model that can classify a lung that has been infected with Tuberculosis and a normal lung using images of chest x-rays.

My key resposibilities were to monitor and maintain the computer systems and networks of an organisation. Took part in installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults and solving technical and applications problems, in person.
Data Scientist - Freelance
As a data scientis I have been able to utilize my analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets. I then use this information to develop data-driven solutions to difficult business challenges.
